Traditional air conditioning installation in manly must be done near a window. Therefore, you need to make a hole in the wall to connect the outdoor and indoor compressors. Also, expensive ducts need to be bought. Split system air conditioning comes with an outdoor compressor which can be either laid on the floor or hung on the wall by brackets. You can either place them in a garage or a shed. Just make a small hole to connect AC with the outdoor compressor.

Split air conditioners have washable filters, which make the maintenance of splits easier. The filters can be easily taken out and put in. the outdoor compressor does not need to be cleaned. It helps in cleaning the air.

Traditional air conditioners are large and inconvenient, and we have to place them near a window. While the split systems are not much larger and are out of people’s vision as they are mounted on the wall. Their beautiful designs can match the interior of your home.

Traditional air conditioning systems are way too noisy because their air-blowing units are present inside your house. Split AC systems make less noise in your home.

Split systems can not only cool your home but also provide heat. A thermostat can control this hot and cold air. Traditional air conditioners allow hot and cold air to escape from doors. At the same time, this is impossible in split ACs. This property of split systems makes it more functional and less costly.

Split systems can cost up to 30 to 40 percent higher than regular air conditioning systems. Yet splits are long-lasting and help you save on your electricity bills. The new technology of splits is not much expensive as most people think.

The indoor and outdoor units must be within 30 meters distance from each other. The length of the tube which connects them is fixed. This means split ACs are not suitable if you are living in an extremely tall house.

The interior unit of split air conditioning systems is noiseless. Unfortunately, the outdoor unit makes a lot of noise. This can be a problem for your neighbors.
